What we do:
There are 2 groups covering different playing levels - Advanced, Intermediate. Both groups meet on a regular basis, both at the same time and venue, as shown above. Both groups are very friendly and relaxed.
The Advanced group welcomes those who can sight-read and play any size of recorder to a reasonable standard.
The Intermediate group is for those who can already play a descant or treble recorder but who need a little longer to learn a piece. Intermediate players can graduate into the Advanced group as they progress.
We play music of all types including classical, popular, folk and anything else members would like to try. We also have occasional music theory talks for added interest.
Please note: members of any of the groups MUST have access to email and printing facilities.
The groups get together to perform for charitable events and at U3A meetings. If you would like to book the groups to play at an event please contact Pam Willis.
The combined group performed at Watford Park U3A's Study Group Show in November 2014 and again in November 2015. Here are the videos!
