What we do: The Theology Group comprises both religious believers and non-believers. We aim to discuss various aspects of a religion as suggested by the group members. Some of the topics discussed have included: Do we need 10 Commandments?, Quality of Revelation, Venn Diagram (Trinity), Law of Nature, Morality and Humanity, Meaning of Christmas, Definition of Love, and more.
We occasionally invite external speakers to address topics of their own faith.
We arrange visits to various places of worship. Past visits have included a visit to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Watford and Bhakti Vedanta Centre, Aldenham.
Members also attend external courses and seminars. Last year members attended a series of lectures at St Alban's Cathedral. The topics included Bible in a Day, Rights and Wrongs, Rival Ideas of God, Teachings of Buddha to name a few.
Currently, one member is leading a 6-week course on Bible Studies.
