What we do
During the summer months we organise day visits to public gardens. These are often at National Trust, English Heritage or RHS sites. Coaches generally depart from outside the Essex Arms in Langley Way.
Details and an application form will appear in the Newsletter two months before the month of the trip. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Booking forms and cheques will be taken at main monthly meetings.
During the winter months (November through to March) we meet to hear a speaker on the topic of gardens or some aspect of gardening, and in December we usually have a craft and social event.
In the winter months we meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the main hall at St Luke’s church at 3:00pm.
Summer day trips are mostly held on 3rd Tuesdays but not every month.
