Stop email going into Spam

Comprehensive instructions for preventing messages being filed as Spam for many email providers are available in whitelist.guide. If you're told to create a filter, please define it to look for WDu3a in the subject line.

If you become aware that you have not received a MailChimp (such as the one linking to Info or with other news in intervening months), please do the following:

1. Make sure that you have wdu3a.comms@gmail.com in your address or contact list. (updated 230523 from wdu3a.noreply@...)

2. Check your Spam or Junk folder - if it is there, follow the instructions mentioned above to prevent it being misfiled.

3. If it's not there, make sure that you have carefully followed all the relevant instructions in the page mentioned above.

4. If you have changed your email address recently, did you inform the Membership Secretary of the new one? If not, please do so and check your old address for the missing MailChimp if possible.

5. Send a message to wdu3a.mailchimp@gmail.com asking them to check whether you were sent the MailChimp in question - ask a friend who has received it for the subject line and date/time they received it. The MailChimp manager will also check whether you have clicked (accidentally or otherwise) the link to unsubscribe from MailChimps that appears at the bottom of each MailChimp message - this stops all messages being sent to you and we can not undo that, but have to send you a link for you to re-subscribe.

6. If you still can't find out why you haven't received the message, there is nothing else that we (WDu3a) can do and you will need to contact your email provider (use Google if necessary to find out how to do that). If a friend can forward you the original MailChimp, you could pass that on to them.
