Library of maps/routes for ramblers

Click on the links below to see a bank of 330 or so maps/routes for rambles previously walked by our rambling groups.

Library of maps for walkers DD produced by Derek Darby

The maps usually include directions to a parking spot, the Ordnance Survey co-ordinates and the postcode of the parking spot. Detailed directions of how to walk round the route are normally not included. As more maps are updated they will be added to the bank. Click on the link above and select the name of a walk to download a map of it.

Warwick District U3A has purchased a licence from the Ordnance Survey for the maps and you can download and print copies from our website. Each map usually has a OutdoorActive shortcode for smartphone navigators so the walk can very easily be transferred to your android smartphone or iphone. On the OutdoorActive website you can see a map displaying the walks.
If you are a member of Warwick District U3A and have problems accessing a particular map of a walk contact Derek Darby, giving the name of the walk and he will email the map and other details to you.

Library of maps for walkers DA produced by Dave Anscombe

A Library of the routes completed by LWII is available by clicking on the link above.

The walks are organised as follows:

1) Routes for Winter walking DA (17 Maps)

2) Routes up to 3.0 miles DA (66 Maps)

3) Routes from 3.1 to 4.0 miles DA (127 Maps)

4) Routes over 4.1 miles DA (120 Maps)

The walks are presented as .pdf files for you to print as required. Route descriptions are not included because the routes are subject to constant change and resources to keep the description up to date are not available. An Ordnance Survey licence covers the use of these routes for members of WDU3A.
