Science and its Application
All meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday of the month at "The Gap" 39 Oakwood Grove, Warwick CV34 5TD. The talks start at 2:30pm with doors open at 2:00. All are welcome but if you are not a "regular", please contact David Temple to make sure there are enough chairs for everyone who attends.
The group is very keen to hear from any members of U3A who have interest, expertise or enthusiasm in any area of science (in its widest sense), who are keen and willing to pass on their interest to others. Please contact any member of the planning group with your ideas. All members of Warwick District U3A are welcome to attend.
Cost of meetings is £1 each to cover the cost of hiring the room.

From the use of the camera obscura by Renaissance artists through to the 2018 Turner Prize, won by a series of short video clips filmed on an iPhone, artists have used and been inspired by science and technology. This talk will look at the science behind some famous and fascinating art.
