Walk: | ~10 yards, no stiles, no mud, several smiles |
Other information: | On Wednesday May 1st at 10:30 in Winmarleigh House, Reg Dacey will give an illustrated talk entitled "Over the Hill" on his many MANY years of walking. Come along to support him and perhaps be inspired! |

The Salt Line
Meet: | 10:30 The Horseshoe Inn Sandbach Road, Lawton Heath End, Stoke on Trent, ST7 3RA What3words ///handle.records.backswing |
Directions: | About 45 mins from Warrington south on M6 to junction 17, turn towards Sandbach then left at traffic lights A533 for 2.5 miles and turn right onto B5078 for 1 mile, pub is on the left. |
Walk: | Easy 5 mile walk described as "no slippery stiles or boggy fields" along the Trent and Mersey Canal and "the Salt Line" a disused railway, toilets and order food before the walk. |

Gritstone Trail and Ridgegate Reservoir
Meet: | 10:30am prompt. Park at the pub, order lunch when we return. Ryles Arms, Higher Sutton, Macclesfield SK11 0NN what3words ///bits.wedge.going |
Walk: | 4.5 miles, moderate to strenuous in places. Climbing up to the Gritstone Trail to Ridgegate Reservoir, Langley and back. Stiles, muddy areas, possibly cattle in at least two fields, sheep and lambs, short but sharp hills and wonderful views. I'm hoping the bluebells will be out. |
