Beacon (17/11/19)

Our site was set up on the 1 November 2019 and membership data was successfully migrated. We are spending the time before the New year trialling and ironing out any errors and mistakes.

We are starting to populate group information so that for those who wish to modernise their group records, you will be able to use this facility directly.

To find out more please read the November Beacon Newsletter and if you have any questions please email the Beacon Administrator.

Group Showcase in 2020

We would like to showcase our Ware U3A and our Groups at both our AGM (to our members) and in June to the local population. We would welcome ideas from you and your members on interesting ways to celebrate what you do. Please email Jan Wing your ideas.

Group Leaders Facebook Closed Group

Some of the Group Leaders have expressed an interest in having a Group Leaders Facebook Group where they can share information and ideas with each other. I am pleased to say that 17 group leaders have joined the group so far with a couple of others expressing an interest. If you would like to join the group can you please send Doreen Howe a message.

Link

Please note the Link newsletter is issued bi-monthly. Please send your contributions to the Link Editors for December / January by noon Tuesday 19 November 2019.

Waiting Lists for Groups

If your group is full and you are approached by new members to join you please take their names and contact details and pass them to Sue Richardson, Groups Co-ordinator, who is holding waiting lists for all groups.
