Craft and More
Meet: Second and Fourth Monday 9.45am-11.45am
Location: Ware Museum
Cost: Fees for term plus £1.50 for materials when attending
Group Leader: Diana Perkins
We all enjoy doing things with our hands. This may be cards, knitting, sewing, cross stitch or some other crafty idea. Members sometimes lead the sessions or have ideas about what they want to do.
Recently we knitted two hundred and thirty-two poppies for the Armistice Exhibition at Ware Museum. Two hundred and thirty-two is the number of Ware men who died during World War I. The Poppies are now on display at the Museum until mid January.
In January we expect to be starting a patchwork project to make lots of bags. And maybe some button necklaces. We sometimes have a stall at the Wodson monthly meeting days so look out for cards and other bits.
Please come and visit us and give us a try.
