We are a friendly group meeting on a monthly basis in members’ homes. We take it in turn to suggest a book for the month. This sometimes means we encounter books we might not have considered reading and can lead to some lively discussion. You can make your own arrangements to obtain a copy of each book if this is your preference, alternately you can join those of us who take advantage of the library’s book group lending scheme. For a small annual fee (approx. £4.00 each last year) we can reserve books and borrow them for an extended period (6weeks).
