Art Appreciation

Meetings are held once a month on the fourth Tuesday at 2.00 pm, usually at the Group Leader's house.
We research topics democratically chosen, and share our information with everyone at the next meeting, usually round a coffee table, passing round iPads and books, very often with much discussion and always using straightforward language.
Many people "save" Art Appreciation for their retirement and then wonder where to start. Our Art Appreciation group has been running for a few years. As knowledge has increased and confidence grown we now include visits to galleries and places with something special to see. These visits are often preceded by lunch and followed by afternoon tea.......a lovely way to spend a day in congenial company.
