The Astronomy group discusses a range of Astronomical topics from the Big Bang (which has become rather controversial), star formation- life and death, latest developments - which are numerous, the planets and the many new images that become available to study. Because we are using Zoom, we can look at short talks on subjects of choice and the wonderful images from Hubble and other orbiting telescopes making it easier for members to contribute. New members are welcome and would not be expected to give a talk until they are comfortable in the group. No prior knowledge is necessary, just an interest in our universe.
The group will meet the first Tuesday of each month an 14:30 - 16:00, beginning 2nd November. The Zoom details will be sent out a day before we meet to everyone.
Please contact the Group Co-ordinator Heather using the icon above, if you wish to join.
