TRYING TO UNDERSTAND OUR UNIVERSE (including ASTRONOMY)
In our group we give talks on any scientific subject that relates to our title – it can cover anything that we choose. We have had very varied talks; some controversial, others up to the minute, cutting edge science, some weird and strange, all result in lively discussion and all are presented by our members. We endeavour to understand our Universe in its multitude of complexity - which, of course, we never will; however we are enjoying the challenge very much.
We meet in Putney on the first Tuesday of the month, from 2.30 - 4.30pm.
