Indigenous Cultures
This is a new and informal group for members who seek a broader interest in the history, politics, arts, food and culture of the indigenous peoples of Africa, the Caribbean, the Americas, Polynesia and Asia from beginning to the present time. Each topic will be selected by a different member to involve discussion, socialising, interaction and learning.
Meetings will take place on the third Tuesday of the month except December and August at a venue in Earlsfield. The venue is easily reached by bus on Garrett Lane. We will meet outside on seating provided by the venue. Toilets and refreshments will be available to use and buy.
Our first meeting is scheduled for October.
As for numbers of people at meetings we will adhere to Government guidelines on social distancing.
