Waltham Forest

19th Century Literature

This successful group has recently relaunched in a new venue. It's also now meeting from 1.00-3.00pm. The new group leaders write:
The group began by looking at the works of Dickens, turned to the Brontes and a variety of novels (and novelists) are being enjoyed. The Nineteenth Century has produced so many fine books. We take our time reading the books, some of them might seem intimidatingly long. At our monthly meetings we watch a film adaptation together. There are some wonderful writers to explore and discuss, its been a fun journey.
