The course covers things such as Accident management, unconsciousness, CPR, heart attacks, bleeding, fractures, burns, diabetes and strokes. The eight sessions will be based on the British Red Cross General First Aid course (but we will be doing a lot more than that course covers) - they are intended for general interest only and will not be certificated. There will be opportunities for lots of questions and for you to have a go at some of the practical elements if you wish to. There will be a charge of £1 per session to cover hire charges and expenses.
