Park Ambles

Leaders: Margaret Wood, Jeanette Harvey and Sue Duffy

Park Ambles is specifically formed to attract members and prospective members, who enjoy 'ambling' in all weathers, in the company of like minded people within the beautiful setting of our local park.

We meet at The Visitors Centre within Walsall Arboretum on the 4TH TUESDAY of the month WITH THE EXCEPTION OF AUGUST and DECEMBER.

We meet at 10.10a.m. for a PROMPT start at 10.20a.m. There is NO FEE for this activity however all participants are invited to sign in as a record of attendance.

We advise our Park Amblers to be prepared to amble on hard surfaces, cope with slight inclines, there are NO STILES and we walk for a duration of 2 miles.

We always offer 'a get out clause' after 30 minutes for members who may be more comfortable with a shorter distance.

We finish back at The Visitors Centre Cafe at about 11.45a.m. just in time for members to order breakfast before the lunch menu is activated at 12noon. Beverages are available via The Cafe as are toilets.
