Wallasey

Ukulele

Welcome to our ukulele group page

We played at the Cruise Ship Terminal today a long session from 12.20 until 3.00 with a couple of breaks. The passengers were passing through on their way to or from trips around the city. They seemed to love it and it brought a smile to their faces. We were videod by many and some were dancing and jigging along with the music. We've been asked back so they must have liked us.

We are a friendly group of about fifteen people of mixed abilities and of various instruments. Some have only just started to learn and others have been playing for several years.

We sing a mixture of songs from folk to pop and 1920s to 1980s.

For those within the group who enjoy playing to the public we aim to perform about once a month at local residential homes and charitable functions once it becomes safe to do so again.

We meet every Monday afternoon at 2.00 until 4.00

at Wallasey Village United Reform Church

Car parking is available
