Date: Thursday 28th March
Event: A guided tour of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London. Shakespeare’s Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open air playhouse first built in 1599, where Shakespeare worked and for which he wrote many of his greatest plays. The reconstructed Globe opened in 1997 and was founded by the pioneering American actor and director Sam Wanamaker.
Cost: £14.50 entrance/tour + coach & gratuities.

Date: Thursday 11th April
A day visit to Uppark which is a tranquil and intimate 18th-century house, perched on its vantage point high on the South Downs ridge, Uppark commands views as far south as the English Channel.A highlight of the collection is one of the best examples of a 17th-century doll's house in the country.

Date: Tuesday 30th April
Event: A visit to Leonardslee Gardens Sussex First planted in 1801, the gardens closed in 2009 but they have now been restored by the new owner and are due to reopen in Jamuary2019. Visit the Grade II Listed Mansion House and look out for the Wallabies.

Event: A day visit to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Since 1927 it has been an integral part of the landscape of the Romney Marsh. Known as Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, our world famous one-third full size steam & all-generations great day out.

Event: A visit to Nottingham for a cruise on The Nottingham Princess - Trent River Cruise. The cruise on the River Trent departs from Nottingham (The River Lodge) or (Trent Bridge) for 3 hour cruise with a 2 course Roast lunch included.

Dates: Monday 24th-Thursday 27th June
Event: A 4-day trip by coach to the Isle of Wight. We will be staying 3 nights in Shanklin on a DB&B basis.. The hotel is situated at the foot of Luccombe Downs. There is no lift but the hotel has 3 rooms on the ground floor. Visits may include Osborne House: Steam Railway; Rosemary Vineyard & Mottistone Gardens (NT),
Cost: .The price of c.£360 will include hotel, ferry crossing and entry fees. Needles. Unfortunately all single rooms have been booked but I do have several twins and doubles still available. A deposit of £50pp will be payable by 10th February.

Event: A day visit to Walton on the Naze Essex. Walton is a traditional seaside town on the east coast. The Naze, as well as being a natural open space, is a Site of special scientific Interest.

Date: Tuesday 16th July
Event: A visit to Warwick Castle. There has been a fortification at this site since Saxon times and the current stone castle dates from around 1260. The castle is almost intact and you can walk around the battlements and go inside to visit the Great Hall. Outside there are some beautiful grounds and there is a daily Bird of Prey display.

Event: A day visit to explore Kingston Lacy a lavish family home built to resemble an Italian Palace. There’s plenty to see, from grand, beautifully detailed carvings, to intimate family souvenirs; you can view the largest private collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts in the UK.

Event: A 4 day mini break to North Wales staying at Warner's Leisure Hotel Bodelwyddan Castle with possible optional excursions to Snowdonia, Portmeirion, Rhyl and Conwy, The accommodation is on a half board basis in a standard hotel room with en-suite facilities . There is evening entertainment.
Cost: £244.00 hotel + £65.00 coach fare (including excursions) making a total of £309.00 per person based on 2 people sharing a room. Date: Wednesday 2nd October
Event: A visit to Lincoln Bomber Command Centre There will be time to visit Lincoln City with its Cathedral, Guildhall, Castle and shops, before moving on to the Centre. A memorial spire, walls, peace gardens, and visitor centre that mark the service and sacrifice of World War II aircrew, ground crew and support staff that lost their lives whilst serving with Bomber Command.

Event: A 3 day mini break to Norwich Hotel TBC in Norwich on a half board basis. On Friday 22nd travelling to Thursford for the Christmas Spectacular show at 2.00pm and return to the hotel for the evening meal. There would be time to look around Norwich before we journey back to St. Albans.

Event: A visit to Her Majesty's theatre to see The Phantom of the Opera at 7.30pm.
Now in its 32nd year and with Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerising score. along with jaw-dropping scenery.
