From 10th January 2019 there will be Ukulele sessions catering for different lelels/requirements.These sessions will be on alternate Thursdays
The new Group 2 Ukelele development class on alternate Thursdays(first one on 17th) which will complement the existing Group 1 Ukelele Group meetings. The aim of the new class is to provide more support to all types of player.
New players will be given more one to one tuition time, which should enable them to get to a point where they can comfortably integrate with the main group quicker. They will also be given mentor support and encouragement by existing members.
Intermediate players will also get the opportunity to improve and develop their skills, perhaps learn how to play melodies using Ukelele tablature, try new strumming patterns, or simply play music that they wish to perform, rather than songs selected for them to play.
Advanced players will be able to play music in new keys, or develop their song writing skills, we currently have two members who write their own original songs, who are happy to help other players develop their own ideas for new songs.
The group is open to all - No previous experience required! We also have a couple of instruments spare for people to try before committing themselves.
