Craft group had a good April. We raised £70 for some of our spring chicks that the group had knitted. The money went to a new group called The Forget-me -not café which was started by the Rotary group in town.
It is for carers and people with memory problems. A place where they can get together and have a coffee and a chat and a change of scenery. A good thing I think. Plus it was nice that two Uttoxeter groups could help each other. My lovely crafters were really pleased at the outcome and are already thinking what they can all knit next! Watch this space!
