Other possible main events for 2024 include a talk from Dr James Wakefield about energy in the home (possibly on 18th September); and after a huge turn-out to listen to the jeweller Jamie Hall’s talk on the Staffordshire Hoard in January, he has said he would be willing to return to give us a different talk (possibly in November).

No Need to book, just come along, enjoy and learn.

We are also always looking for more activities to start-up. If you have a particular skill or interest, please come and see us at ‘Open House’, every Wednesday from 10-11.30am

And of course, we are also keen to showcase the talents of our groups – or individual members - at any Open House event. If you would like to do that, please let me know and we will arrange [and publicise] a mini event for you. There are so many groups that have so much to share, it would be great for us to be able to do that.
