We are always looking for new groups and group leaders to expand the variety of areas of interest we offer. So, if you don't see a subject you are interested in we will do what we can to help you get a course started.

We are a lively and friendly organisation offering a range of study and interest groups. Anyone who is no longer in full time employment is eligible to join. It's a good way to meet people and make new friends. With Zoom our members can keep in touch.

Membership fees for 2021-2022 are £18 single; £31 for joint membership
Anyone wishing to join now will pay for the year ending September 2022.

The U3A stands for the University of the Third Age, which is self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and recreational opportunities in a friendly environment. Our group leaders have an interest in their subjects.

The original idea for Upton and Lytchett joining the U3A organisation was formulated in 2006. This branch was inaugurated in September 2007 and the first of 26 groups covering 21 subjects started in October of that of that year. Currently we have 27 groups led by 25 group leaders.
