Upton & Lytchett

Membership

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Membership runs from September 1st to August 31st each year.

A full year's membership is £27.50 per person.

However, the fee is reduced to £15 if you join after March 31st.

Please note that some groups incur an extra charge to cover large venue hire or materials costs, and we now charge £3.60 per year if you want to receive a paper copy of the Third Age Matters magazine.

We do have a reciprocal arrangement with Purbeck u3a, so you can join Purbeck u3a at a reduced subscription.

HOW TO JOIN

If you find groups you would like to join, you must start the membership application process by obtaining a Membership Application Form and User Information Booklet.

If you have online access, you can do this by contacting our New Enquiries Secretary via the Contact Us page, who will then email you the booklet and a link to the online form. (You can also find a link to the form in the Links section of the Welcome page).

You then simply complete the online form and submit it using the SUBMIT button at the foot of the form..

Before doing so, however, you should check with the relevant group leaders that the groups you wish to join do have vacancies. The contact details for each group leader can be found in the information booklet; we do not publish them on this website for security reasons.

If you do not have online access, you can still join by obtaining a paper copy of the form and booklet. These are available in Upton and Lytchett libraries, or by contacting our New Enquiries Secretary directly by phone, using the phone number on the image on the Home page.

You can the return the completed form by post.

Once you have completed the form, you need to pay! You can pay by BACS bank transfer or by cheque. Full instructions on how to pay are given on the form.

HOW TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Our Membership Secretary will email you with a link to the online form. (You can also find a link to the form in the Links section of the Welcome page). When you fill out the form, you need only enter those personal details which have changed since your last renewal. When the form is complete, submit it using the SUBMIT button at the foot of the form.

(If you prefer, there is a printable copy of the form which you can complete and return by post.)

IF THE GROUP YOU'D LIKE TO JOIN IS NOT CURRENTLY LISTED...
