U3A Science Network 2019 Annual Meeting
The Science Network's 2019 Annual Meeting will be held from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 August 2019 at Aston University, Birmingham Conference Aston. A map of the campus is available from the right-hand Links Menu.
How to get there: Go to Conference Aston Map & Directions for comprehensive information about how to travel by car or public transport to the Conference Centre.
The conference centre is just a ten minute walk from Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill or Moor Street railway stations. There is a taxi rank at each station, cost per journey between £6 and £7. There’s also a taxi rank on campus.
Car Parking is available on the campus but is relatively expensive (£7.95 per 24 hours) and must be
booked and paid for in advance - see Car Parking, so it is suggested that delegates consider sharing a car to reduce the cost - or come by public transport!
Booking: Booking has now closed.
Programme: The latest information about the Speakers Programme is available at Final Programme 2019.
Members have a choice for sessions provided by Aston University, Debate and Workshops on Monday and Tuesday. Some of the visits are to labs where space is limited, so we are asking you to make your choices in order of preference so that we can allocate places as fairly as possible.
