----- The Zentangle method is a relaxing, easy to learn and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. No drawing skills whatsoever are needed.

Following two very successful courses, this third course will run weekly, for four weeks starting on Friday, April 9th from 10.30 to 12.00 noon over Zoom. It is open to all members, up to a maximum of 15 members.
Participants will be creating beautiful art by drawing step by step Tangles (patterns) on an 8.9 cm square paper (Zentangle tile) using a fine black pen, shading in pencil and blending this using a tortillion (paper stump). No rubber is used as there are no mistakes, only opportunities.
Each session is hands on with everyone having a tile.
Participants will need a fine black pen, any watercolour paper cut to 89mm (three and a half inches), a pencil and a tortillion or cotton bud (to blend the pencil).
Zentangle sells their own range of tiles which are made using 100% cotton Fabriano Tiepolo water colour paper. The other tools they recommend are: a Sakura pigment 01 or PN pen, a graphite pencil and a tortillion . These materials are all available in good stationery shops or online. Alternatively if you want a small starter kit for these four weeks I can supply and post this at cost.
After the 4 weeks participants have the option of continuing with a weekly Zentangle Art club.
On Mondays from 10:30 to 12 noon.
