Eco Matters: will discuss a variety of topics e.g. climate change and climate justice; connection with nature and the spirituality of ecology; reducing energy requirements; reducing emissions; regeneration; waste; veganism; adaptation.

Members will be invited to contribute to discussions and will be encouraged to lead sessions on topics of particular interest to them or of which they have particular knowledge.
The group leader will set up personal zoom room and share access details; this isn’t an Extinction Rebellion (XR) meeting, but the content may draw from some of XR’s principles and the style may follow some of XR’s values (e.g. non-violent communication using hand signals. (Members will receive a copy of “hand signals for meetings”)
Member won’t need anything special to join in although the XR handbook “This is not a Drill” is a useful resource.
The group will probably meet monthly for 40 minutes, probably at the weekend but this will be decided by the members and it will take a up to 10 members.
The meeting will take place using Zoom and other communication will be by Bcc email.
