This group is for beginners and improvers. Complete beginners are especially welcome !
More experienced players may be interested in the Recorder Consort Group or the Recorders, Intermediate group.
This group offers the opportunity to learn any of the three most popular recorders: the small descant that you may have tried at school, the larger treble or the more mellow tenor recorder.
Zoom is used for meetings and members will be encouraged to rehearse short pieces and to play along to backing tracks to give experience of ensemble playing. There will also be a regular email to which members are invited to contribute.
Members will be encouraged to use a tutor book to practice between sessions so will be able to develop skills at their own pace.
