Writing Fiction for Pleasure

At each meeting we each read out our homework. This is a piece of fiction of not more than 500 words on a theme chosen at the previous meeting.

After a tea break we have a 15 minute writing exercise. This year the inspiration for the exercise has been an item brought to the meeting by a member.

The accent is on enjoyment rather than critique and at the end of the afternoon we have both challenged ourselves and listened to a surprising variety of stories.

The group has a Blog (tringu3awriters.wordpress.com) where anyone can read and enjoy a selection of our stories.
