Art, Craft and Needlework

This Group meets on the fourth Friday of the month from 2pm to 4pm at the Colbury Memorial Hall, in the Ashurst Room.
The monthly sessions run from January to March and following a summer break, start up again in September to November inclusive. Start time is 2pm until 4pm
The charge for each meeting (at present) is £1, six months payable in advance, but this depends upon attendance numbers. We have to cover the hire cost of the room at Colbury Hall and payment is made whether you attend each meeting or not.
We are always looking for new members, so do come along and see if you enjoy our sociable group whatever your level of expertise. Please bring your own medium of art that you are happy to work in - maybe picking up your brush and paints again after many years and work in watercolour, coloured pencils or acrylics. We are a mixed group, some of our members like to knit, crochet, make cards, felting, needlework, patchwork, embroidery or bead-work, also marquetry (as well as chat).
We do have some gentlemen members, so come along lads and have a go.
Our next meeting, after the summer break, will be on Friday 27th September 2024 - so please come along.
