About the U3A
U3A stands for the University of the Third Age. The U3A is a nationwide organisation, for people who want to continue to learn, develop their interests, make friends and try something new. There are no age limits but the U3A is for people in their 'third age' - retired or semi-retired. For this reason it attracts a lot of members aged 50 and over.
Torpoint and Rame Peninsula U3A
We have an meeting on the 4th Wednesday in the month at 10am-12 noon, where members can hear about the forthcoming activities of the various groups and chat to other members over a cup of tea and a biscuit, then listen to an entertaining speaker.
