Craft

The Craft Group meets every Tuesday at 12.30 in St. Mary's Church Hall, Croesyceiliog.

Sometimes we concentrate on personal projects, helped by the more experienced members of the group who possess a variety of skills.

Most of us will try a variety of crafts and will occasionally cooperate on larger projects.

We have made knitted 'Easter Chicks' as fund raisers for Velindre Hospital and knitted cardigans for babies and children.

We have been involved with making tactile books for children with little or no vision.

All this in addition to toys, scarves, shopping bags, cards and rag rugging made to raise funds at our U3A Open Day.

We have also made visits to Craft Centres and other craft focussed events.

The Craft Group is lively, friendly and always happy to welcome new members.
