We generally organise three or four coach trips each year for members and their guests, choosing destinations so that we have a reasonable time for some detailed exploration. We usually leave Toddington Green between 8.30a.m. and 9.00a.m. and aim to be back by 6.00p.m.
Our normal practice is to hire a blue badge guide to add interest to our trips and to include lunch in the package.
Past trips have included Hidden London, Greenwich and the Cutty Sark, Sandringham, the Wedgewood factory, Midsummer Murder Country and Waterperry House for Art in Action.
Trips for 2020 are shown below. Things may change depending on actions taken with regard to the coronavirus pandemic. In particular, the trips scheduled for July will be kept under review. The London trip has been postponed from May to October. We hope that the trip to Constable Country on 1st July will be alright. Final payment for this is due by 18th May. I have checked with Highgrove Gardens and they have cancelled all visits until the end of June (at least). If July visits remains possible and sensible, we will leave Toddington Green at 7.30am on 7th July. Final payment (£40) to be paid by 20th April. Please see links to the right.
We have heard from our tour company that they have cancelled all trips until the end of June. In mid-May we will consider the position with regard to the Constable Country trip scheduled for 1st July and, if necessary, postpone this until next Spring.
Highgrove Gardens have cancelled all visits for April, May and June. We will keep an eye on the situation for July.
