Bridge

ALL FACE to FACE MEETINGS AND GROUPS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

VIRTUAL MEETINGS MAY BE HELD ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND VIDEO CONFERENCING

Bridge is probably the ultimate card game, and is not learnt in a short time. Our group meets every Monday morning at Braxted Cricket Pavilion.

We like to start at 9:45 am prompt so 09.30 am is ideal. The £2.00 entry charge pays for your tea/coffee and biscuits when we have them. We usually finish around 12.00.

We welcome new people. However, to benefit fully, it is essential that you know the basic principles of whist.

There are no formal lessons, although our experienced players do provide tasks and often organise set play. We also analyse each hand and discuss how it could or should have been played.

The best way for anybody wishing to know more is to turn up and watch play in session
