French For Beginners

ALL GROUPS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE A FULLY PAID UP MEMBER OF TIPTREE U3A BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND AN INTEREST GROUP

A new group for those wanting to grasp the basics of conversational FRENCH.

The French For Beginners group meets every alternate week. We meet in the URC lounge on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 1.30 pm for an hour.

We are following the BBC Talk French course, which consists of a book and CDs, so that we can work on our pronunciation. We have almost completed the first course, and intend to go on with the second.
We also tap into French exercises online, again to improve our pronunciation, as we do not have a teacher.
We would recommend this course to any other interested parties, wanting to establish a second group.

At the present time this group is not able to take any more members, but the situation could change or we could start a new group as soon as we have sufficient numbers. So please let the Group Co-ordinator know if you are interested in this group.
