Warner’s Sinah Warren
Many of our members are aware that each year Thurrock U3A has a group holiday to one of Warner's sites.
I have a few rooms still available.
This year it is Sinah Warren, Hayling island, Hampshire. It is a hotel, so that we are all in one under one roof. I will not book sites where possible so that we have to go out outside to get to our rooms. At Warner's we have breakfast and an evening meal included in the cost, with entertainment on site during the day.
The date is 11th November to 15th November 2024. At the cost of £395 each sharing a double room.
The holiday starts on Monday morning when you get on the coach from Thurrock. We have a stop on the way where you can buy lunch and stretch your legs.
We arrive about 3pm where you have time to rest, unpack before the evening meal, with entertainment afterwards.
During your stay you have the opportunity to decide whether you want to stay on site or join us on the coach and travel to a place of local interest, as we have the coach and driver with us for the holiday.
On Friday morning after a hearty breakfast, we make our way home.
I booked the holiday last year to get a good price. I did not start to collect deposits until January 2024 . I have a list of those members who were interested and have paid £50.00. But there are still a few outstanding that I was asked to reserve places for. Some of you have not yet paid. I'm sure it has slipped your mind. The full balance is due in August 2024.
