There is a whole world out there and the Internet is a good way to learn about it. However, where do you go and who do you trust to give you the information you want and need, in a way that you can understand? How about joining in the new idea of MOOCs (that is Massive Open Online Courses). If you want to search the internet for MOOCs you will discover that thousands (really!) exist but we are making it easier for you.

The U3A are supporting a new learning initiative from the Open University called FutureLearn. With the help of many of our countries best learning institutions FutureLearn is offering short courses on all the subjects you enjoy.

You can follow any of the courses on your own or perhaps as a Group (Do any of you want to help organise a new Group?). There are many courses that you can follow at no cost. All you need is a computer and an e-mail address and some time to sit down and study.

The first step is to go to (link on the right). For a short explanation go the the 'About' page and for a list of what they can offer go to the 'Courses' page.

Go and enjoy yourself!
