Our group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10.00 am.
Through shared discussion we investigate subjects within the broad spectrum of psychology. No knowledge of psychology is required.
We make an annual plan of subjects that the group want to investigate and discuss.
Group members who are willing to investigate a subject and lead the discussion have the opportunity to do so, but no pressure is put on any group member to undertake this role.
During National Autism week we had an outside speaker from SNAP (Special Needs and Parents) come to lead our discussion and develop our understanding of this topic.
We use discussion, role play, outside speakers and TV presentations to assist our investigations into each topic.
Our most recent discussion related to Extrasensory Perception (ESP). We had a lively and interactive meeting using TV presentations, research and personal experience to develop our understanding of this topic.
Telepathy – The ability to send a message to another person without using any of the five senses Carla and Dee testing their telepathic skills using cards with symbols
The group is lively and interactive.
Our group is currently full, but we are able to take names for the waiting list.
