Friday 8th SeptemberAndrew Borkowski explores the eventful career of Erich Amadeus Korngold and the very wide range of his music. [Programme change]
Friday 13th OctoberHelen Hill (mezzo), Chris Hall (baritone) and John Merrick (piano) present a programme including songs by Schumann and Finzi, along with some operatic/light-hearted songs and duets.
Friday 10th NovemberMatthew Bale (harpsichord) and Lorna Osbon (violin) return with an eclectic mixture of solo and duet works ranging from the baroque to the modern.
Friday 8th DecemberRoyal Welsh College of Music and Drama harpist Alis Huws and her flautist companion Carys Gittins will play for our pre-Christmas meeting. Mulled fruit punch and mince pies will be served.


Friday 12th JanuaryGareth Williams’s jazz group, the Class Act Quartet, will join us for a lively morning of music. Gareth is already well known to us as a member of the Trio di Brio.
Friday 9th FebruaryA visit from performers from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Watch this space to find out what kind of performer or performers they will be sending us!
Friday 9th MarchThe Brandon Hill Quartet return with a fresh programme. Details will be announced when they have decided on their play list.
Friday 13th AprilPhilip Heyman will entertain us on his viola with a wide range of different works, accompanied by Alison Dite.
Friday 11th MayNicki Barnes presents her new programme, a journey of world flute music inspired by folk traditions, playing flute, whistles and folk flutes as well as piccolo and alto. She may also sing and demonstrate the bagpipes.
Friday 8th JuneLeader of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Leslie Hatfield, will be Jos Gregson’s guest as she decides what records she would have with her on a Desert Island and we find out about her busy professional life and how she would cope with the solitude of the island.
