The coronavirus outbreak means that the photography group cannot meet in the near future.
There will be no meetings in April and May. We will review the situation after that.

The Photography group has a steady membership and provides for a range of experiences, with basic techniques suitable for beginners interspersed with more advanced techniques for the more experienced.
Most meetings we start with a look at images from a famous photographer. This is then followed by a more technical presentation. Meetings typically close with a member presenting some of their images.
The Group meets in the Chantry Coach Hall from 10.00am for a 10.30am start on the second Wednesday of each month (except for our Summer break which, in 2018, was in August). New members or visitors are always welcome.
Meetings are open to all members of Thornbury U3A. More Information is available from Alan Jones on 883912 or by email to Photography.

Ther 2020 day out will be on July 8th when we will visit the Birmingham Canals and Baddesley Clinton. There is a pdf download describing the trip on the menu to the right of this page.
All places on the trip have now been taken.
Since the start of the coronavirus crisis, we have been circulating "photos of the day". The gallery now contains the images circulated so far.
