History
This group is open to anyone with an interest in History from Romans to the 20th century.
We started a new History Group in Autumn 2019 following on from the very successful and long running Tudors and Stuarts period and now study a variety of different eras, methods, places and people. These have included Georgian engineers such as Thomas Telford and Victorian Prime Ministers and the repeal of the Corn Laws.
We meet in the Coach Hall of the Chantry on the first Wednesday of the month at 10.30am with refreshments available from 10.00am.
If you would like more information, please contact Acting Leader Alison Makepeace on 01454 415019 or by email to History
