CHRISTMAS SOCIAL EVENT - Many thanks to everyone who attended and those who helped to make the Christmas Social event on 12th December such a warm hearted event.
Special Thanks go to: Lesley G, Nicky C, Judith S, Lynn B & Julian F who aren't even members of our small, hardworking committee!

HISTORY GROUP - Our next topic will be 'From Lilacs to She Loves You' looking at the events of post-war Briton from 1945-1964 and how these changed the way people lived. We will look at such things as the foundation of the NHS, the building boom and modernity changing the look of our homes, the growth of coffee bars and our social interactions and the beginnings of multiculturalism. This will not be a walk down memory lane although our memories and perceptions of the time are relevant. Anyone who isn't currently a member of the group but would be interested in learning more, please contact Judi on judiboutle@hotmail.com or 01842 753365.
