Play Reading Group 2
We usually meet on the third Monday of the month between 10 am and 1 pm and take it in turns to hold the session at each other's homes - this is voluntary and not a problem if you are unable to accommodate this.
Most plays take around 2 hours to read so there's time to talk about the play that's being read and what to read next, as well as enjoying the host's refreshments.
We read a cross section of plays from thrillers (Murder Mistaken by Janet Green) to bedroom farces (Bedside Manners by Derek Benfield). We don't act out the plays - we just read them so acting skills are completely unnecessary.
It's a fun way to relax and enjoy three hours of being completely taken out of yourself
