  • "The Shows Must Go On" - Andrew Lloyd Webber is streaming his hit musicals on this YouTube Channel every Friday at 7:00pm, throughout April & May. Available to watch for 48hrs.
  • U3A-Eye Photographic Project - a new on-line Photographic Project U3A Eye to celebrate our budding U3A photographers and encourage them to submit pictures of their surroundings during this unprecedented time.
  • Virtual U3A - lots of “virtual” interest groups, activities & discussions from National U3A
  • Open University - short courses on a range of subjects including science, the arts, history, languages etc.
  • FutureLearn - similar to Open University but from a range of Universities nationally & internationally.
  • Free TED talks - non-profit organisation offering short talks on a range of subjects from science to business to global issues.
  • duolingo - fun language learning site.
  • BBC Sounds - listen again to any BBC radio programme, podcast, audiobooks etc. Free.
  • A National U3A Facebook page entiltled 'U3A - Keeping in Touch' has been created to help U3A members to stay in contact with each other and also a place to share ideas U3As are using to maintain learning and interests and to keep in touch. To join this group go to the U3A button above - Keeping in Touch. You will need to have or create a Facebook account to join.

  • There are three upcoming online history courses from Queen's University's Open Learning Programme. All lectures are recorded, which gives you the flexibility to 'attend' a lecture at another time if preferred. The courses (click on a link for details and prices) are:
