|Thu Sep 19th||Why does health run in the family? - 2.00pm - the library in the High Street, Long Crendon. - This hour-long session will explore the relationship between human health and inheritance. Why is it that so many health problems seem to be passed from parents to children, and what have we learned about how this all works from sequencing the human genome? Should I have my genome sequenced, and what could it tell me? We’ll also dive into the future, the exciting new technologies that might change healthcare forever and whether they can really live up to their promise. - (As space is likely to be restricted, please confirm your interest to attend to Lesley Charnock.)|
