u3a Events As a u3a member you have access to a range of bespoke events including our summer school programme, our national UK wide events with partner organisations, or simply to take part in our u3a conference and AGM

u3a National Learning Programme This is the page where you will find many ideas to keep learning during these times - a mixture of suggestions from members and quizzes, challenges and projects from our subject advisers, members and other Trust Volunteers. Some are one-off events and others ongoing over a period a time. All of which are supported by members like yourself. Get involved!


u3a Tewkesbury & District has been running very successfully since the early 1990s. Our umbrella organisation is the Third Age Trust. No qualifications are offered and no qualification is required other than that you are not in full-time work. There's no age restriction either! Come and join us to learn, laugh and live! We are a Registered Charity, No. 1029447.

There are about 40 different weekly or monthly activities happening throughout the daytime [mostly weekdays], with friendly group leaders and over 600 members enjoying diverse activities in various venues including:
