If you're a parent or grandparent, and would love the opportunity to support struggling new mums and dads, please consider being a Home-Start volunteer. If you can give just 2-3 hours a week, you'll be instrumental in giving young families in the Tewkesbury District the best start. What a good idea!
In case of emergency (ICE) enables first responders, such as paramedics, firefighters, and police officers, as well as hospital personnel, to contact the next of kin of the owner of a mobile phone to obtain important medical or support information (the phone must be unlocked and working). People are encouraged to enter emergency contacts in their mobile phone address book under the name "ICE". A simple, potentially life saving idea!

Monthly Sunday afternoon teas for isolated older guests

The tea parties are great fun, and make a real difference to the lives of the older guests that attend, many of whom may struggle to get out otherwise.

The group needs more older guests! Our guests are usually over 75, live alone, and struggle to get out or have become isolated for other reasons. If you know of anyone then please get in touch.

Contact the Elderly Phone 0800 716 543 for more information.
