The ROSES Theatre will be the venue for the group from Autumn 2022. Our first meeting will be in September. Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday every month between 2-4pm. The first meeting for this year will be on 20th September @ 2.pm in the Eric Morecombe Suite.
As previously we aim to present and discuss high quality recordings on good equipment.
Our presentations are mainly of classical music recordings with regular forays into other genres.
This would include a wide range of musical taste and to discover lesser-known composers and their music, and less well known music of well-known composers, without excluding favourites in general.
The music ranges from early to recent and includes not only symphonic but instrumental as well as vocal works. The aim is to provide a balance of these in most of the programmes.
A brief explanation will precede each piece, and a short discussion may follow it.
We look forward to welcoming friends both old and new. Come and give us a try.
