PLEASE NOTE, THE ART GROUP IS NO LONGER ACTIVE.
The Art Group meets in Longstock Village Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 10.00-12.00. The group usually meets at outdoor venues during the summer months (through June, July & August), although this year we are taking a break and will start indoor painting again in September.
We are a small friendly group; the format is informal with no set topic and members tend to bring small objects (including flowers, plants, etc) or photographs, to paint or draw using predominantly watercolour paints. Anyone with an interest in art, including beginners, is welcome to join the group. One of our members will demonstrate various techniques during the Spring ‘term’, on an ad hoc basis; she, and other members, will be on hand to offer guidance and advice.
