Science and Technology Discussion
Would everybody please note that we are intending to change the name of the group to the science and technology discussion group. We feel that this will reflect or realistically the nature of the discussions which take place at our meetings.
Our world is dominated increasingly by development of technology based on scientific discoveries. The purpose of the group is to examine some of these developments and try and decide on the impact it has on our daily lives. Discussions take place at a level which can be understood by those with little scientific or technical backgrounds .
Meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of the months in the Chilbolton small village hall at 2 pm. We usually also provide a zoom link to allow other people to join in the discussion remotely.
The next meeting will be on the 24th of May and will be on the subject of avian flu.
