History

Group Leader Doreen Healey

This is an extremely friendly and informal group with about twelve members attending most meetings. We meet on the third or fourth Monday of the month and members take turns researching and talking about a period or individual(s) in history.

The range in interests is very wide. Recent talks have included the History of Newspapers, the Search for DNA, A Hundred Years of Class in Britain, Life in the GDR and Motoring Between the Wars.

Currently the group meets via Zoom.
